BUSINESS STRATEGY

SIOGEN Biotech's business strategy is to partner companies and bring more innovative drugs, compounds, personal care products and substances out into the market. We aim to do this by using our state-of-the-art drug delivery and targeting technology.

Our collaboration with GMP partners ensures that the entire manufacturing process of the compound of interest with Siosomes® is of the highest quality.

The GMP produced compound encapsulated Siosomes® also makes it easy for partners to upscale production from test samples to huge kilogram batches without reservations with regards to quality and consistency of product at every level.

This accelerated process also allows partners to quickly achieve ‘market ready’ products.

Investor Relations, Business Development, Marketing, Corporate Communications and overall operation of the Company are handled from Malaysia under the stewardship of its Managing Director, Dr Shermal Perera.

TECHNOLOGY

Siosomes® are inert nanoparticle vesicles consisting of two or more concentric, organo-silicon layers based on the Silane (SiH4) general structure. These can be manufactured in different sizes, dependent on use and requirements, ranging from 40nm – 1500nm in size.

Siosomes® can be developed to precisely address issues such as toxicity, targeting, solubility, immunogenicity, bioavailability, and efficacy. Additionally, it is possible to construct multi-lamellar (layered) Siosomes® for sustained release of drugs and pro-drugs.

SIOGEN has developed around 30 different Siosomes® structures, each with specific inherent characteristics, including anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti- cancer properties.
